Fandom Wars- Epilogue
"…………………………………………"- UNSSR Emergency Broadcast System
Eastern Ponsylvania, Trotegheny Mountains- area formerly known as Hughesville, Pennsylvania

Nothing much was left really of the old world. Where there had once been tall metal skylines were now just clear blue skies and the peaks of the Trotegheny Mountains. A few towns had sprung up, but instead of the coming and going of cars was the quiet clip-clopping of ponies' hooves going to work at civilizing this newfound frontier.
It had been about seven or eight years since the Fandom Wars had ended. Operation: Salvation Envelope was a success, and all life in the universe had been reset to the beginning of their lives and turned over to the Ponies to rebuild in their image. As for members of the animal kingdom, well, not too many were sure what happened to them. Some animals had been spared to live in Earth's revitalized eco-systems, but humans, unable to be converted to ponies without The Process, even though they were promised to be reset, disappeared. Celestia had deemed that most (most) of their ideals could simply not be allowed to exist and almost all of them were erased from history. A select few of the bronies were allowed to keep their memories of the time before, but they were not allowed to spread almost any of them (almost any), but other than that, humanity was extinct both physically and spiritually, their history erased and footprint on the universe eroded.
A certain purple Earth Pony trotted down a street in Horseshoesville, Ponsylvania, finishing up a survey he was running on the boom town and heading towards his home. He wore a headset and some other Equestria Royal Guard equipment, but most obvious was a piece of black metal strapped across his chest with a newly-painted moon adorning it. It looked like just a piece of something, just a portion of the chest plate belonging to a full set of modern armor. Pio Neero, Relative as he used to be known. To his regret, he was stationed in the newly-conquered Earth rather than called home to Equestria, but it was all the same now anyway. He got what he wanted: no war, no hatred, no strife. 'Betraying' humanity to pursue those ideals just seemed like the only way to achieve this, and equality, love, and tolerance being forced on everypony did what it was needed to do. Pio often thought of his decision to change sides, and did so now as he was walking home, but he could never find any reason to make him truly regret his actions. What he did here, he thought, was for the best. He sighed to himself as he reached the same conclusion that he always did and began the final stretch to his home.
A blue Pegasus Pony watched as he rounded the corner. It was Agent Zoey, or well, Kiku now, whom defected at the last minute to Equestria, and had moved in together with Pio. They had been dating since before the Fandom Wars, and as they got older, it seemed a good time for them to get together and start a family, very well-cared for what with Pio's promotion to the rank of General after his actions.
The poor Princesses, though, never did truly grasp the power Dimensional Communication Distortion. They did know it existed, but underestimated its level of fluctuation and were overconfident in their agent's loyalties. While most remained loyal to the cause, the Distortion racked communications and, thanks to Dr. Spring Wind's team, they were never reported. Unwittingly, they orchestrated the conquest of an entire universe thinking that they were helping the victims of the war. In the long run, however, they did, and that issue has been addressed in saying 'no hatred, no war, no strife'. Freedom was still abound- Equestria's laws allowed for quite a bit, partly because they didn't really need to prevent anything, what with the innocent and lighthearted populace- and the bronies used this to further justify their actions.
Pio sighed, sitting down on the porch next to Kiku, taking in the brisk mountain morning air. "Anything new, Pio?" Kiku asked him happily. He smiled. "Nothing at all." He replied. "Everything's going perfectly since we moved here from former Anim-." He cleared his throat, correcting himself, looking around to check if anypony else had heard. "I mean, from Umagoya." 'Umagoya', what was known as Japan. He was going to say 'Anime territory', but, well, Old World topics being illegal to speak of, wasn't a good idea to mention it. "Total peace, just like it always is." "And always will be." Kiku smiled. "Hopefully." Pio continued. "So how are the foals preparing for school?"
Oh yes, before going on to that boring every-day topic, back to the fate of the humans. Maybe they did disappear and all traces of them were wiped clean away, but it is very rare for a pony to lie, especially on such grave matters. Celestia promised them a second chance at life and they would be given a second chance. How, though?
Two foals ran out past Pio and Kiku as a bus arrived in front of their house. One was a dark purple Pegasus filly, happily running along with a baseball cap and headset similar to Pio's. "Have a good day at school, Neon." Kiku said, nuzzling this first one before she ran off to the bus. Pio tapped his hoof as he waited for a second one. "Where is that colt…?"
Well, what do you think? How were the humans reset without remaining human?
A dark blue Earth Pony colt rushed down the stairs and out the door, hastily pulling on a white jacket. Pio looked down at him as he passed by. "You almost missed the bus! C'mon, hurry! That's no way a future Observer's to act! Move!" "Ok, OK, dad, I'm going." The foal said timidly as he went out to the bus.
Still don't know? Kept their freedom, but were blank slates?
Pio sighed, turning to face his son as he went off to the bus.
Good job to those who did figure it out, sorta. Anypony whom hasn't figured it out yet…
"And Yozu." Pio said lovingly to his son, who whipped around quickly. "Have fun at school, I love you." "I love you too, dad." The young pony said before rushing off into the bus.
…you're kinda dense.
"Fandom Wars- Epilogue: Into the Gold Age"

The Fandom Wars are over. Director Yozu's plan backfired and Equestria was forced to use its ultimate weapon to defend itself. The Rifts are gone and the Ponies are now the dominant species of this universe and the next, but what happened to the humans?
