Jewelpet OCs- Strawberry and Panke

This will be the 'application' for my character, Panke (Pan-kay), the Pancake Squirrel, on the right.

These two are OCs for the Jewelpet franchise. These two, however, are not Jewelpets (small magical animals with jewels for eyes), but are instead Sweetspets, the Jewelpets' magical cousins made of various sweets and pastries that they like to give to each other as signs of friendship. 


In the case of Panke, I'll be writing his bio with the canon of Happiness in mind, but it can probably be bent around to fit any of the seasons.

General Bio:

Panke, along with his girlfriend Strawberry, are two breakfast-themed Sweetspets running a bakery together in Sweetsland. The shop proper belongs to Strawberry herself, however; Panke travels around quite a bit more. With a wild west theme to nearly everything he does, he works a number of trains throughout the island and is mainly seen porting around various other pets and supplies in them. Occasionally he will run trains elsewhere, and can sometimes be seen running around helping railway companies in Japan and America in the human world.

Panke is a generally brash little squirrel, true to his cowboy themes, preferring to take whatever comes his way head on. By extension, he can be a little blunt to the point of being hurtful, but like most of the -pets, he usually means well. That said, he tends to butt in on others' business in the interest of helping but usually just comes off as nosy. Because of that, some of the other pets resent him some, which has him trying to please everyone so he can stay on their good side. The cycle tends to repeat itself. 

Placed squarely in the Glass class of magic (if that system is still used in other series besides the first one), he's a moderately capable magician focusing mostly on reversing magical spells cast by the other pets that have gone awry-- his way of insuring that the others always need him for something. In addition to his Sweetspod (which he had modded to look like a Readius*, the hipster), he also casts magic through two other ways: first, tucked away usually in his hat (which can be seen on his back here) are two miniature magical six shooters--little Ruger Vaqueros if you must know-- which are used in lieu of wands and are his primary means of reversing spells. Second would be his magical railway lantern, which he uses to store drained magic. Of course, it's quite a bother to carry away from his train, but, well, whenever he has it.
